Community Pool

The amenities at Tidewater Colony are regulated by the Open Space Association.

Pool Schedule

The 2006 pool season begins May 27 and will end September 4. The pool hours are as follows:

  • Monday-Friday, 12 Noon to 8 pm
  • Weekends & Holidays, 11 am to 8 pm

The pool will not be opened during the week while AA County Schools are in session.

Pool Rules & Regulations

The following rules and regulations are for the benefit and protection of the owners, tenants, and their guests to assure the safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities. Your cooperation and observance will assure pleasant and enjoyable recreation.

1. Pool privileges are denied to all owners, residents, tenants, and their guests whose account, recorded by the management agent, is delinquent.

2. Persons using the pool facilities agree not to hold Tidewater Colony Open Space liable for any actions of whatever nature occurring with the pool facilities. Owners and tenants will be responsible for the actions of their children and guests.

3. Persons using the pool facilities must comply with all rules and regulations promulgated by the City, County and State health offices. Admission will be denied to persons with skin abrasions, colds, inflamed eyes, or any infection, and to any person wearing a bandage.

4. A pool identification card will be used for admission to the pool. You must have a pool identification card to be admitted each time. All cards will be filed with the lifeguard and returned upon your leaving the pool. REMEMBER TO TAKE YOUR CARD WHEN LEAVING THE POOL.

5. The pool may be closed at any time due to weather, breakdown of equipment, operational defects or juvenile delinquency.

6. Food, alcoholic beverages, or glass are NOT permitted in the pool facilities.

7. Wheeled vehicles or pets of any type are NOT permitted in pool facilities.

8. Running on the pool deck, unnecessary roughness, horseplay, ball playing and other undue disturbances are prohibited.

9. Tubes, water rings, etc., are not permitted in the pool facilities. Flotation devices are allowed for children under six (6) years of age ONLY IF ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT (person over the age of 18).

10. A child the age of eleven (11) years or under must be accompanied by an ADULT (person over the age of 18).

11. Papers, cigarettes, cigars and refuse must be deposited in proper receptacles.

12. No cut-offs or shorts are to be worn in the swimming pool.

13. Babies in diapers must wear rubber pants in the water.

14. Tidewater Colony Open Space reserves the right to refuse entry or deny pool privileges to anyone at its sole discretion. The rules may be revised or amended at the sole discretion of Tidewater Open Space Association. Failure to comply with any of these rules and regulations will result in the violator being barred from further use of the pool or pool facilities. Interpretation of the rules shall be the right of the lifeguard on duty.

15. Guests must be accompanied by a RESIDENT.

Pool Passes

1. Guest passes may be purchased by residents of Tidewater Colony at a cost of $15 per one block (1 block = 5 guest passes). Each guest pass is good for one days admission to the pool and will be collected by the lifeguard at the time of entry. Unused guest passes from previous years may be exchanged for current year’s guest pass.

2. Seasonal guest passes are available at a cost of $30.00 per pass.

3. A replacement for a lost pass will cost $25.00.

4. Single residents will be issued 2 passes for their use.

5. A maximum of 6 passes will be issued to one unit/household.
